We hope you’re as happy with it as we are. The Flagrant Templar is a collaboration piece with Exit Edgeworks that took us almost a year of refining to bring to market. It, coupled with our aggressive reverse side jimping for prying traction, wreaks havoc on the rings of padlocks. Considerable thought (made our brains hurt) went into the design of our bite notch incorporated into the spike.

The neck slightly tapers down from the full-size ergonomic, scalloped handle, allowing you to choke up for fine work, without having to worry about your hand losing its position.

Whether a first responder needing to access a barricaded entrance, to overseas operations requiring expedient DNA collection, our tomahawk will fit the bill. The Flagrant Templar is unlike any tomahawk you’ve ever held. Presumably, without the Chantry's approval, a Warden Carver can learn Templar abilities as a Grey Warden.Chop keys, bust open crates, take hands and pop locks. For instance, I'm guessing Wardens would probably teach Templar skills to their recruits if they're deemed suitable for the specialization. The game shows that Templar skills can be learned outside of Chantry knowledge. If the DA2 climax is of any indication, Templars dominated that fight regardless of which side Hawke chooses to take.Īs to the Chantry issue, I wasn't thinking of a mage officially joining the Chantry- just the skillset itself of Templars. There are three potential trainers, one for each specialization, that will arrive at Skyhold to teach a warrior Inquisitor their specialization. Or maybe they did and it went nowhere.Īnd if that's not possible, anti-magic is always useful against hostile mages.

Our The First Templar message board is available to provide feedback on our trainers or cheats. With all the experiments and research made by in-universe scholars and mages, I'm surprised no one tried to do this before. Our The First Templar Trainer is now available and supports RETAIL.

If this was possible or established, it would've been a big deal in-universe. Maybe it the anti-magic can be used on oneself? If so, then this would help immensely in hiding one's true nature. I'm speculating if Templar abilities can used on one's self to repel possessions. Still, I very much doubt that it is possible, and personally belive that what hides behind the lyrium potions is, in fact, the blood magic. But then again, mages are using the potions made of that same lyrium to "fuel" their magic somehow. It seems like those two things can't go together. Mage calls upon the energy of the Fade, making the real world "less real", whilst the templars are calling upon "the other thing" (Cole), which is making the real world "more real" (Cole), and thus denying the magic from taking effect. Now, the abilities of a mage are described as the opposite of the abilities of a templar. This may be just the inconsistency between the lore and game mechanics. Also, Inquisitor can decide to take the templar specialization, and that requires him to start using lyrium.

On one hand, there are playable characters who do possess some kind of templar-ish abilities without using lyrium, but on the other - it was specifically stated more than once that their abilities are coming from lyrium. The entire "having templar abilities without lyrium" thing is a bit unclear, at least to me. The first is a list of their top trusted sites and the prices they are.
